New Taipei has the highest population in Taiwan; to build a smart city that provides more conveniences and services to residents, the city goverment upgraded traditional streetlights into 5G Smart Poles, a critical infrastructure in a smart city, featuring multiple functions on top of lighting. 5G Smart Pole serves as a platform that carries modules of 5G, IoT, communications and critical purposes. AI technology is also intergrated to develop various application to improve law and order, traffic, environment and economy. 5G Smart Pole actually converges the light of future for a smart city and becomes a keystone for building smart network and big data analysis.
Having won multiple global awards such as the WITSA Smart City Award and the Best Connected City Award under Smart City Category of 2023 IDC Future Enterprise Awards, 5G Smart Pole successfully gains international recognition for Taiwan and make New Taipei shine!
