To realize the vision of a smart city, a driving engine for development is essential. Baogao Smart Industry Park, situated in the New Taipei City's Xindian District, where tech and information communication industries converge, is in close proximity to expressways, MRT stations and easy access to over six bus routes. The industry Park is also equipped with various smart facilities and a smart Building Information Modeling (BIM) for full lifecycle building management. All in all, Baogao is a five-star smart industry park adhering to the concepts of low carbon emission, sustainability, and intelligent construction.
The Baogao Smart Industry Part aims to recruit industries with low or zero pollution production and has successfully attracted international players specialized in smart transportation, artificial intelligence, bio-medicine, ICT and optoelectronics. Through incubation, testing and expansion, the park becomes a smart test ground for digital R&D, application manufacturing, and experimental research. The Park also invites artists and designers from domestic and abroad to create artworks, infusing artistic and cultural elements as a humanistic touch. The first "Ion Trap Laboratory” in Taiwan was established inside the Park, which is a useful facility to lead Taiwan's quantum technology into a new era. All above efforts have earned Baogao Smart Industry Park the "ICF Top1 Global Smart City Award," affirming its position as a leader among global smart cities. By incorporating public art, the project also enhances convenience for residents and governance for the public sector at the same time facilitates the city’s digital resilience and smart aesthetics.
