社會和家長們普遍「重學術、輕技職」的刻板印象，
將造成技術人才大斷層，
影響臺灣產業的發展。
本活動邀集教育部、技專校院和高中高職、產業界共同探討技職教育如何前進，
打破過去的框架協同合作，重新形塑臺灣技職教育的新樣貌。
讓技職學生在充滿自信心中，以更豐富的學習打開視野，
成為具備專業及人文素養，有能力走向世界的新世代。
Students who excel academically choose high schools
while those with low grades go to technical and vocational high schools?
“Attending vocational high schools means becoming technicians?
I still want my children to attend high schools.”
Companies are unwilling to offer better pays for professional technicians?
The stereotype of "valuing academics and looking down on technical and vocational
education" in society and among parents will lead to a great gap in technical talents
and affect Taiwan's industrial development.
This event invites representatives from the Ministry of Education, technical and
vocational schools, high schools, vocational high schools as well as the industry to
discuss how to fast-track the development of technical and vocational education,
breaking through the past framework, creating a new outlook for technical and vocational
education in Taiwan, instilling confidence in technical and vocational school students,
widening their perspectives through enriching their education, while cultivating their
professionalism and humanistic values and making them competent enough to go out into
the world .
