As global order reshapes, geopolitical tensions, climate risks, biodiversity loss, and social inequality are rising.
Sustainability is no longer a long-term vision, but an urgent priority, as governments, businesses, and society seek to balance resilience and growth.
Since 2017, Cathay has been convening this summit, bringing together over 150 global leaders to advance Taiwan’s sustainability transition. In 2026, as the Paris Agreement enters its second decade, the summit focuses on “ Sustainable Innovation for Resilient Development,” exploring how finance can accelerate collaboration, drive innovation, and support long-term transformation toward a more resilient future.
Note: The agenda is subject to change. Final arrangements will be announced on the event day.

CEO, Hydrotron Power Co., Ltd.
Profile
Fleir Tzou is the founder of Hydrotron Energy and Hydrotron Power, two companies reshaping Taiwan’s micro-hydropower landscape.
His journey began along the Annong River in Sanxing, Yilan, where he had moved to raise his child. While walking by the river, he saw untapped energy potential in the streams and irrigation canals around him—an everyday observation that led him into micro hydropower.
Guided by the principles of environmental stewardship, ecological symbiosis, and community partnership, Tsou has led a series of landmark projects since 2023.
