Mr. Chang-Ken Lee is the President of Cathay Financial Holdings and vice chairman of Cathay Life Insurance. He also acts as the Director of Cathay Financial Holdings and Cathay SITE. Mr. Lee joined Cathay Financial Group in 1986. Prior to becoming the President of Cathay FHC, Mr. Lee served in several roles at Cathay Financial Holdings, including Chief Strategy Officer, Executive Vice President, and Head of Economic Research Division.

Mr. Lee has dedicated decades to promoting financial market development and his contribution is well acknowledged by financial industry. Mr. Lee is currently the Director of JCIC and the Executive Director of the Bankers Association.

Mr. Lee highly values the impact of sustainability created by the financial institution. He is the Director of Business Council for Sustainable Development (BCSD Taiwan). Under his leadership, Cathay Financial Holdings has been advancing its corporate sustainability strategy and exercising financial institution’s core competences to urge the corporates moving towards net-zero transition and promote sustainable development. Mr. Lee’s endeavor on leading corporate strategy and sustainability has been recognized by international organizations. He received the awards from the "Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards: Responsible Business Leadership” and "The Asset Best CEO" award in 2017 and 2019, respectively.

Dr. Peng holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from National Chengchi University (NCCU). He served as Associate Dean of the College of Commerce at NCCU, Chair of the Department of Risk Management and Insurance at NCCU, and Chair of the Department of Risk Management and Insurance as well as Director of the Graduate Institute of Finance and Insurance at Shih Chien University.

Thanks to his years of experience researching insurance management, bancassurance, insurance technology, financial holding companies, and insurance regulations and systems, Dr. Peng has previously held a number of other key positions. These include director and review committee member at the Financial Ombudsman Institution, supervisor at the Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation Fund, director at the Zhi-Yun Insurance Culture and Education Foundation, deputy secretary general at the Taiwan Financial Services Roundtable, and a variety of roles at the Ministry of Finance. Dr. Peng has extensive experience in both finance and insurance and a demonstrated commitment to the development of Taiwan’s financial markets.

President Edith Lee, has served for over 30 years in securities-related institutions such as the Taipei Exchange, the Taiwan Stock Exchange and more. Throughout her career, she has guided more than 1,000 small and medium-sized enterprises into the capital market. She has also supported listed companies in organizing investor conferences and enhancing corporate visibility to facilitate them in talent recruitment and sustainable operations. President Lee has also promoted sustainable finance and supported listed companies to comply with ESG related regulations to strengthen their financing and capital-raising capability.

Rebecca is the CEO of the Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC) and Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC). Prior to this, Rebecca was the Executive Director of AIGCC for 5 years when it launched as a member organisation in 2016. Rebecca has worked in climate change, sustainability and investment banking for over 20 years in Hong Kong, Europe and Australia.

Rebecca started her career in investment banking working in equity research, credit analysis, commodities and derivatives for groups such as Nomura Securities, BlackRock, Exxon Mobil and JPMorgan. Involvement in early corporate sustainability programs in many of her roles was the catalyst to move into the nascent sustainable finance and investment field in Asia where she led ASrIA (Assoc. for Sustainable and Responsible Investment in Asia) in Hong Kong. Back in Australia, Rebecca was the Project Director for the Investor Group on Climate Change, Australia /New Zealand. Rebecca is a member of the global Steering Committee for the Climate Action 100+ and the Investor Agenda. She is a Board member of Wildlife Conservation International – the umbrella organisation of The Orangutan Project, International Elephant Project and the International Tiger Project, focused on animal and environmental conversation in Indonesia.

Hiro Mizuno is a globally recognized financial executive and advocate for sustainable investment. As the Founder and CEO of Good Steward Partners, LLC, Hiro continues to champion responsible financial practices and long-term value creation. He currently serves as Special Advisor to the CEO of MSCI, Inc., Special Advisor of TNFD, an Independent Board Member of LiveWire Group Inc., and a Mission Committee Member at Danone S.A.

PhD, SOAS, University of London

Director General Hu is responsible for overseeing the planning and implementation of policies related to FinTech innovation, green and transition finance, and financial market development. Before this, she served as DG of the Department of Planning at the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC), where she led key initiatives such as the FinTech Development Roadmap, Green Finance Action Plan, and financial education campaigns.

She has also held positions at the Securities and Futures Bureau and the Banking Bureau, with notable achievements including the rollout of the Corporate Governance Blueprint, CSR reporting, and futures trust funds. DG Hu obtained two master's degrees in International Development Policies from Duke University and Public Administration from the University of Southern California in the United States and joined the public sector in 1997.

Eliza Li is the Leader of Sustainability and Climate Change Services at PwC Taiwan, holding a Master of Accounting from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Accounting from National Taiwan University. With her CPA qualification in Taiwan, US and China, and years of capital market and financial reporting advisory services experiences, in 2013, Eliza started her journey of helping Taiwan companies in the areas of sustainability roadmap and strategy, Net Zero carbon emission planning, ESG and climate governance, Carbon Disclosure Program (CDP) and Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) performance improvement, Social Return on Investment (SROI), Science-Based Target (SBT) and Task Force on Climate related Financial Disclosure (TCFD) implementation and preparation of Sustainability Report. As a CPA, Eliza also provides assurance service on Sustainability Report. With her diverse consulting experiences in financial and non-financial areas for Taiwan companies, Eliza is a frequent speaker in different forums and universities providing her insights in Sustainability trends and developments.

Mr. Shan-Chi Liu is President of Cathay Life Insurance, with over 35 years of experience in the life insurance industry. With a strong background in financial investment and comprehensive management expertise, he has led the company through major transformations in business development, digital innovation, and talent cultivation—enhancing customer service and strengthening organizational resilience.

Committed to sustainability, Mr. Liu has guided Cathay Life to align with Cathay Financial Holdings’ ESG focus on climate, health, and empowerment. Under his leadership, Cathay Life became the first life insurer in Taiwan to join the global RE100 initiative, advancing low-carbon operations and responsible investment strategies in response to climate challenges.

Jens Nielsen is the founder and CEO of World Climate Foundation, one of the strongest global partnership networks on climate and biodiversity in the fields of business, finance, government and international organizations. Under Jens’ leadership, the World Climate Foundation is at the forefront of creating cross-sector coalitions, driving impactful change before 2030. A notable example is the Climate Investment Coalition, where Jens serves as Director, a public-private partnership recognized for facilitating multi-billion USD in climate investments from international institutional investors, co-founded in partnership with the Danish government.

Through his work at the Foundation, Jens has collaborated with countries and cities worldwide, including Denmark and Dubai. The Foundation has forged enduring partnerships with globally renowned organizations such as Philips and Siemens, actively constructing comprehensive cross-sectoral strategies to navigate their green transition effectively. Moreover, Jens has led the creation of pioneering impact platforms in climate, biodiversity and health as a part of the World Climate Foundation’s work. In addition, Jens Nielsen contributes as a board member to organizations such as the Climate Planet Foundation, Art2030 and Greenlab Innovation Foundation.

A political economist by training, Jens has accumulated extensive international experience, having offered strategic guidance to major corporations across more than 20 countries. Jens has held C-level executive roles in both the public and private sectors in countries such as Denmark, Sweden, Canada, Australia, Japan and the UK. Jens notably served as CEO of Cision, a leading international communications company and spearheaded consulting initiatives at PwC. His expertise in regulatory economics has established him as a recognized expert in regulatory markets for energy, natural resources, transportation and communications.

Sophia Cheng is the Chief Investment Officer of Cathay Financial Holdings and also acts as Chair of Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC). Sophia has 30 years of experience in research and investment with last position acting as Chairman and Head of Research of Merrill Lynch Taiwan.

Sophia is highly regarded by the government. She is well known for her work in financial sector research and her proactive participation in forming government policies, including promoting banking reform and tax reform. Sophia also acts Board of Director of the Taiwan M&A and Private Equity Council (MAPECT).

In addition to serving as an advisor to the Executive Yuan, a member of the National Sustainable Development Committee of the Executive Yuan, and an advisory member of the National Development Commission in the past, Sophia is also a member of the National Climate Change Committee of the Presidential Office, a member of the Future Earth Taipei Committee and a director of the Society of Taiwan Women in Science and Technology.

Sophia has been actively promoting Corporate Sustainability and Responsible Investment in Taiwan. Currently, she acts as a member of Future Earth Taipei and the Vice Chair of Taiwan Impact Investment Association (TIIA). Sophia has been also selected as 2019 Asia’s Top Sustainability Superwomen, 2021 Global Top 50 Women in Investment Management and 2022 Taiwan’s Outstanding Corporate Sustainability Professionals.

Sophia holds M.S. in finance-banking from Golden Gate University, San Francisco, California and B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from National Taiwan University.

Patrick Yeung is the Assistant Director, Climate Action of AVPN. He obtained his PhD in marine biology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2017, with professional field in ecological conservation.

He joined WWF in 2014 to drive marine conservation work, including marine habitat and species conservation, sustainable fisheries and ocean plastic. Besides, he actively built partnerships with NGOs, government authorities, research institutes, industry associations, to facilitate the society to take scientific actions for collaboratively protecting the ocean. He became the Senior Program Director of Mangrove Conservation Foundation in 2022 to coordinate wetland conservation and education program, and expand the international cooperation program.

Since 2024, he acts as AVPN's Associate Director of Climate Action Platform to motivate social investors and organisations to work with other stakeholders for jointly supporting carbon neutrality goals while achieving the other sustainable development goals.

Dr. Tsai has been a faculty member at National Taiwan University since 1999 and has served as the Director of the NTU Experimental Forest since 2014. Heis currently also the Associate Dean of the College of Bioresources and Agriculture at NTU. Dr. Tsai’s professional career has focused on timber architecture, green building, historic building’s restoration, sustainable forest management, forest carbon sinks, forest therapy, circular economy, and the development and application of Biocredit as a mechanism for evaluating forest ecosystem services and managing sustainable resources. He is also dedicated to promoting sustainable forest development and international intercollegiate collaboration.

Since 2005, Dr. Tsai has received numerous honors, including the Journal of Wood Science Emachu Research Fund International Contribution Award, the Outstanding Contribution Award for Historic Building Restoration, the Wood Physics Outstanding Contribution Award from the Chinese Forestry Association and the Chinese Forest Products Association, the title of one of Taiwan’s Top Ten Outstanding Agricultural Experts in 2016, the 28th Outstanding Agricultural Education and Extension Personnel Award, and the 2023 Forestry and Nature Conservation Contribution Award

Mr. Shu-Sheng Pu holds a Master’s degree in Management from Seattle City University, with a specialization in information security and sustainable development. Widely recognised in the field as a pioneer of risk management, Mr. Pu is known for his forward-thinking leadership and sharp industry insight.

At BSI Taiwan, he leads the ESG verification team, leveraging his expertise in risk management to champion sustainable development across environmental, social, and governance domains. Under his guidance, BSI Taiwan has actively supported domestic enterprises and government sectors in aligning with global standards, particularly in corporate social responsibility and sustainable goal practices.

His efforts have further solidified BSI Taiwan’s role as a key driver of sustainability and international standard integration.

Chih-Pang Lin is currently the Deputy General Manager and Director of Cathay Energy.

He previously served as the Assistant Vice President of the General Affairs Department at Cathay United Bank. Since joining Cathay Group's core renewable energy business in 2017, he has pioneered the use of insurance capital in solar energy investments. He led the development of the “Sweet Potato Solar Project” in Chiayi, an agrivoltaic demonstration site that integrates sun-tracking solar modules, automated agricultural machinery, and a circular system combining Napier grass cultivation and livestock feed. This project successfully established a model for the harmonious coexistence of solar power and agriculture. Lin has also actively participated in multiple capital expansion initiatives, strengthening Cathay Energy's capital base and strategic positioning.

Aravindan is part of the management team at AVPN, the pre-eminent social impact platform in Asia with a team of 100 executives in 18 countries committed to moving capital towards impact. As Executive Director of the Climate Action Platform at AVPN, Aravindan is responsible for the strategic direction and execution of programming for SDG13. This includes driving engagement with AVPN members, identifying strategic engagement with partners; designing innovative programs to address unique needs emerging in the platform theme and spotlight Asia’s leadership. Since setting the new direction for this platform in 2022, the platform has initiated pathfinder groups with AVPN members which have developed into initiatives across Energy Transition, Clean economic growth, Climate adaptation for Health, Climate & Gender nexus amongst others.

He has worked across the private sector and the social impact sector for close to two decades and brings both perspectives into his work. Aravind holds a Post graduate degree in Management from the Indian School of Business and a Civil Engineering Degree from the National Institute of technology.

Shalom Chen currently serves as the Head of Sustainability for L'Oréal Taiwan. With two decades of profound experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development, she has been instrumental in establishing and nurturing multiple long-standing CSR initiatives for L'Oréal, many of which have run for over a decade. These include pioneering programs such as Taiwan’s first award to promote women’s participation in science and a dedicated high school girls’ science program, alongside significant efforts in corporate volunteering and supporting inclusive sourcing.

Since 2020, following the launch of "L'Oréal For the Future" global sustainability commitments, Shalom is responsible for local activation of the group’s worldwide sustainability targets which are aligned with the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). She also takes charge of strategizing and driving initiatives to cope with Taiwan’s environmental and social contexts, including comprehensive efforts in decarbonization, waste & plastics reduction and circularity, and biodiversity promotion.

Within the ESG framework, Shalom champions L'Oréal Taiwan’s corporate governance via serving as a market correspondent for corporate ethics and human rights.

Viola Lin currently serves as Deputy Chairperson of Ørsted Taiwan and Head of Legal APAC for Ørsted Asia Pacific. Since 2017, she has been deeply involved in the development of Taiwan’s offshore wind industry, supporting Ørsted in advancing over 2 GW offshore wind farms through all key phases–including development, bidding, construction, financing, equity transactions, operations and maintenance, and asset anagement—helping drive Taiwan’s energy transition forward. She also oversees legal affairs in other Asia-Pacific markets such as Korea and Australia.

Viola is the Chairperson of the Taiwan Offshore Wind Industry Association (TOWIA), representing developers with investments and projects in Taiwan. In this role, she actively promotes collaboration among industry, government, academic, and research sectors, lead policy advocacy, strengthens stakeholders engagement, build public consensus, and support green energy education, all with the goal of enabling a healthy industry and contributing to Taiwan’s net-zero target and sustainability ambitions.

Viola is admitted to the New York Bar and the Taiwan Bar. She holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, an LL.M. and an LL.B. from National Taiwan University. In 2022, she was named one of the Top 100 Legal Power List by A Word About Wind, recognizing her as one of the most influential lawyers in the global wind industry.
